Independent India is a partner and a friend of Shipyard "Yantar"

The Republic of India has become rather more close to Kaliningrad region in July 2005 when Shipyard Yantar had signed a contract for construction of three Frigates for Indian Navy. Special importance of this international agreement lies in the fact of serial nature of the Indian order. The last Frigate of this series was laid down in July of the current year and the first one will be launched by Shipyard “Yantar” in 2011. Kaliningrad shipbuilders approached to this serial order with all due responsibility. The buyer’s Warship Overseeing Team, working at Shipyard since December 2007, confirms high quality of construction.
