Maintenance of top quality of products is one of the main tasks of Shipyard «Yantar». Quality Control is independent from production. The Central Yard’s Laboratory, Laboratory of Electrical Metrology, Laboratory of Acoustic and Electromagnetic protection have at their disposal up-to-date control instrumentation, ensuring strong control of works & materials quality at each stage of an order execution.

Majestic motto of the Shipyard «Quality tested by sea» is confirmed by Certificates of leading Classification Societies. Quality control system of «Yantar» corresponds with requirements of International quality control system ISО 9001. This appreciation gives to the Shipyard the right to execute full complex of shipbuilding and repairing works starting from a design study up to sea trials and delivery of commercial vessels and Navy ships.

The Shipyard fully appreciates the importance of professional skill of Shipyard’s all level specialists for maintenance and increasing of our achieved product’s quality level. Toward this end the Yard put into practice specialists training and their skill level raising with the following attestation in accordance with existing from 1999 Standard of the Enterprise, which takes place in the Shipyard’s Trade School, course network, State and Public Special Educational Institutions on the contract basis.
