The «Teg» has passed the state exam!

Trials, completed with the assistance of the Indian crew on 1 & 2. February, can be considered as the  all-important event  for Indian frigate the «Teg» («Sabre»). Exactly  these two days were devoted to firing, which have completed the trials of the first  of three ships pr. 11356 for Indian Navy.

On the 1-st of February in the Baltic sea the crew of the ship together with members of future Indian crew carried out missile-artillery firing  and put an end to sea trials of the Frigate.

Training of Indian crew is going on now onboard the «Teg». Indian seamen get used to the ship operation. Acquaintance with the new ship has been started with the small celebration. The Indian crew arrived just before the national holiday of India – Republic day. On this occasion on the 26-th of January the members of the Indian crew shared their joy with the Russian crew and instructors. By the Indian tradition celebration is associated with sweet courses.

Ship practice of the Indian sailors and officers on the «Teg» is being passed under guidance of Andrey Karaush. For the total period of practice works the Indian crew and our specialists are divided into  37 groups. Teaching in each team is executed by using an  existing equipment.

For the most members of the Indian crew the ship is familiar as they have already worked on the first  three Frigates, constructed in Saint-Petersburg.  It makes the process of teaching much more easy as these Frigates are sister-ships. The Indian crew shows itself as well trained professional team of Indian Navy.

Training will be completed on the  20-th of February, after that the ship will come back to the shipyard’s water area for dock inspection. Sea trials lasted five months, that is even less than scheduled period.

The last exam for the ship will be Delivery-Acceptance Trials, which will be commenced  just after undocking the ship.
